PART-TIME CONTRACT POSITION
FASD: The Prevention Conversation: A Shared Responsibility
JOB PURPOSE
The Adolescent Prevention Facilitator (APF), hired by the South East Alberta FASD Network will increase awareness and prevention of FASD in Alberta, through participation in the FASD-The Prevention Conversation: A Shared Responsibility Project.
Through various presentations, workshops, training opportunities, conversations and the use of social media engaging health and social service providers, educators, and community individuals, the APF will increase FASD awareness and prevention across the region within the adolescent population, specifically those 12-17 years old.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
– A degree or diploma in the field of Health, Education, Human and/or Social Services (Child and Youth Care) or related field, is required
– A minimum of 2 years related employment experience, e.g. high risk populations, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder or community development
– Alberta Class 5 License and a reliable vehicle, available at all times

CONTRACT AMOUNT: $32,138.10/contract year
This is a part-time contract position (approximately .5 FTE) between the successful candidate and SEAFAN with the possibility of renewal at the end of the term.
CONTRACT PERIOD:
February 23, 2026 – March 31, 2026
Renewal: April 1, 2026- March 31, 2027
