CHIN PARK CAMP HOST
COUNTY OF WARNER
The County of Warner is looking for a Campground Host at Chin Park for the 2021 camping season. May 15 – September 15. The successful Campground Host Applicant will be provided with a camping spot, power, water and sewing and monthly Camp Host payment.
Chin Park is located on Highway 36, approximately 22 miles north of the Village of Warner and south of the Town of Taber on Chin Reservoir.
There are 12 sites with electrical hookups, one group camping and an overflow area – 4 non power sites and tenting area. Approximately 2,000 overnight camping units and 3,000 Day Use/Boat Dock Use Park Visitors frequent the park annually. The beautiful and scenic park includes a boat dock, boat ramp, swimming area, camp kitchen, playground and washrooms. Potable water is available.
Chin Park Camp Host Duties include but are not limited to:
• welcome visitors, assist in registration of Day use and Overnight
• assist Watercraft Users with education and awareness for Aquatic
Invasive Species Program
• answer park visitors’ questions and direct them to park and local
• maintain a fun and friendly atmosphere in the park
• undertake minor park maintenance activities as required
• monitor park activities, inform park users of park ordinances, and
coordinate ordinance enforcement with the R.C.M.P./Community
There is also additional employment opportunity available as Chin Park Campground Maintenance. General duties include mowing, general grounds care, watering of grounds, weeding and trimming, washrooms, and garbage control. Contact our Office listed below for more information.
