Eastern Irrigation District
The Eastern Irrigation District (EID), Brooks, Alberta, seeks a GIS ANALYST/DEVELOPER to join our information services team.
Under the direction of the Information Services Supervisor, the GIS Analyst/Developer will complete various GIS and related projects, including providing internal GIS support with respect to presentations and mapping. This non-remote position is a maternity leave replacement but may be extended to assist the Information Services Supervisor in migrating various datasets into ArcGIS and advancing the District’s web mapping to accommodate these datasets using ArcGIS Enterprise and various other ESRI applications.
The individual must have a broad set of qualifications and skills, including, but not limited to:
Two year diploma in GIS, or equivalent education from a recognized post-secondary educational institution, combined with a minimum of two years of relevant GIS experience preferred.
Working knowledge of computer based technology including ESRI ArcGIS Pro 2.8 and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook).
Working knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS Pro Model Builder, Python, ArcPy, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGID Dashboard, and ArcGIS Dashboard.
Effective interpersonal communication skills.
Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s licence and clean criminal record report.
