Seeking a strong leader to advance Sik Ooh Kotoki Friendship Society into the future. You will create ties and engage positive relationships with city and community agencies while keeping in mind our mission and vision reporting to the Executive Director.

Job Description

~ • Managing all programs administered by the Friendship Soiety

~ • Managing renewal/enhancement of existing programs

~ • Obtaining new funding for programs

~ • Managing all program submissions and reporting requirements to relevent

goverment departments and agencies

~ • Managing all program administrative requirements

~ • Proactively maintain consistent communication with provincial and national

Friendship Centres, goverment officials, funders and staff

~ • Developing evaluation plans/frameworks in conjunction with Executive Director

~ • Attend meetings on behalf of the Friendship Society as required

~ • Preparation of briefing notes and meeting reports

~ • Network with other Indigenous and non-Indigenous organizations

~ • Provide oversigtht and management of data collection for reporting and other

purposes

Terms: This position is full-time on a yearly contractual basis. Evaluations determine the on-going status each year. Position has a competitive salary.

Qualifications: Undergraduate Degree in a related field, or 5 years relevant experience. Experience working in the non-profit sector, grant writing and program/project management will be an asset.
